- HBMEC Company Launches its 2024 Voluntary Tree Planting Activity
As the warm breeze of the east brings new life to the land, it is the perfect time for voluntary tree planting. Deeply adhering to the ecological civilization philosophy of Xi Jinping and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, HBMEC Company organized a voluntary tree planting activity on March 9th, 2024, with the aim of putting into practice the belief that “lush mountains and clear waters are invaluable assets”. The event was presided over by Comrade Qi Shanshui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Comrade Zhang Yanfang, Chairman of the Labor Union, with the participation of approximately 100 employees from across the company system.
Planting a patch of green, we repay with a canopy of shade. On the site of the tree planting activity, the gardening staff provided detailed instructions on the precautions for digging holes, backfilling, and planting trees. Everyone was filled with enthusiasm and eagerness to contribute. They hoisted seedlings, swung picks and shovels, and planted the saplings securely, creating a lively atmosphere.
Each step of the planting process was closely coordinated and executed with seamless cooperation. The newly planted seedlings stood steady, facing the wind with vitality. After more than an hour of hard work, 56 whitebark pines and Chinese pines found their new homes, standing tall and facing the sun, with their green leaves fluttering in the breeze.
This tree planting activity has further enhanced the ecological awareness of our employees to cherish, protect, cultivate, and revive greenery, making a positive contribution to beautifying the environment and promoting ecological civilization construction.
