On April 29th, the Provincial Foreign Trade Assets Company convened a youth employee symposium themed “Talking about Ideals, Comparing Responsibilities, and Enhancing Abilities” to celebrate the May 4th Youth Day. The company’s Deputy Party Secretary, Deputy Chairman, and General Manager Li Yumin, Deputy Party Secretary Qi Shanshui, and Union President Zhang Yanfang attended the meeting, engaging in face-to-face exchanges with over 30 representatives of young employees from the company system. During the symposium, awarded individuals, youth league leaders, and youth representatives actively spoke out, sharing their thoughts on the spirit of May 4th, discussing growth, insights, suggestions, and attitudes, creating a lively and relaxed atmosphere that fully showcased the youthful enthusiasm and vitality.
Li Yumin emphasized that the enterprise is an environment that every employee relies on for survival, and young employees are an essential source of strength for the company’s development. The company and its employees are closely interconnected, mutually influencing, and indispensable to each other. The Provincial Foreign Trade Assets Company attaches great importance to the cultivation and development of young talent and has been continuously enriching its youth talent pool and strengthening the selection and training of young leaders in recent years, providing a vast stage for young people to showcase their talents. Throughout the company’s development, young members of the Communist Youth League have closely adhered to the company’s central tasks, persevered in overcoming difficulties, and injected vitality into the company’s growth.
Li Yumin urged the company’s youth to: first, establish lofty ideals. They should aspire to great heights, uphold firm convictions, integrate their individual goals into the greater goals of the country and the people, keep pace with the times, share the fates of the people, further strengthen their ideals and beliefs, lay a solid ideological foundation, and firmly support and uphold the “two upholdings.” Second, they should possess a sense of responsibility. They should be brave, capable, and persevering, approach work with a healthy and positive attitude, cultivate the confidence to take on responsibilities, strengthen their confidence in moving forward, set ambitious goals, cultivate noble virtues, become accomplished talents, assume significant responsibilities, and strive to become new-era pioneers capable of shouldering the responsibilities of national rejuvenation. Third, they should possess excellent ability and quality. They should diligently study, carefully reflect, and steadfastly act, placing the study of theoretical knowledge and professional skills in a prominent position. They should delve deeply into their thinking, analyze thoroughly, research thoroughly, enhance their work skills, and improve their ability and level to solve practical problems. Fourth, they should adopt a pragmatic style. They should actively go to the frontlines and grassroots levels, establish a down-to-earth work style, set up practical work norms, boldly take strides forward, bravely challenge themselves, seize the opportunities of the times, fully play their role as a forceful contingent, actively participate in e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce businesses, and contribute to the company’s growth in profitability.
The meeting also conveyed the spirit of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission’s May 4th commendation conference and announced the collective and individual honors awarded within the company system.
